Come along to my yarn studio, pick the colours for your shawl and start knitting!

This class is for beginners but you will need to know the basic stitches (cast on, knit, purl etc beforehand)

During the class we will explore colour choice and placement, learn how to wind yarn from skeins into balls and get started on your knitted shawl. If you haven’t used handdyed yarn before this is a perfect starting point.

This workshop is 2 hours long and includes 100g of handdyed yarn (either as a set of mini skeins or a full skein of yarn, you get to pick!), a beginner friendly shawl pattern and knitting needles, as well as refreshments and biscuits. It will take place in my yarn studio which is located in Holmfield Mills, Halifax.

Please note that my studio is on the top floor of the mill, up 4 flights of stairs and there is no lift unfortunately.

This class takes place on Saturday 28st May 10am-12 noon.

Workshop t&cs

Any workshop that is booked with us can be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the day of the workshop and you will receive a refund.

If we have to cancel a workshop or course, we will let you know with as much notice as possible and offer you either; an alternative date to do the same workshop; offer an alternative workshop or if this is not possible; a full refund.

Any cancellations made where less than 7 days’ notice has been given, refunds are given at the discretion of the management team. In this case transfers to an alternative workshop will be possible or a credit stored within our systems. Please do contact us should such an occasion arise and we will be more than happy to discuss your options with you.
